Job Description

You might be the User Experience (UX) Designer that The Creative Group is seeking for an immediate opportunity with a client in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area! If youre looking for an opportunity in the detail oriented Services field, you might be interested in this long-term temporary position. As the User Experience (UX) designer, you will manage user research, the administering of interviews and surveys of diverse populations, and the translation of results into sitemaps, wireframes, and design prototypes. The role needs to create the overall functionality of the product and work tirelessly to make incremental improvements to deliver an exceptional user experience as well. This job is for a creative thinker who enjoys working independently as well as collaborating with colleagues. Responsibilities - Areas of focus may consist of content, controls, visual design, packaging, customer/technical support, branding, and other aspects of user experience - Building tools such as personas, usage scenarios, site maps, taxonomies, and wireframes - Lending a helping hand to other team members as needed (QA, data entry, production updates, resizing of graphics, etc.) - Conducting usability testing on prototypes or finished products to assess the quality of a user experience - Collaborating with business users and application developers to translate requirements into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes - Working closely with other members of the digital marketing team on the development of new initiatives - Draw on results from user research and workflow analysis to develop captivating experiences for users of a product- High skill level in design software applications and tools - 3+ years of experience within the digital design/UX industry - Understanding of prototype/mockup software (e.g. Sketch, Balsamiq, Zeplin) - A portfolio exhibiting UX (wireframes/prototypes/other UX artifacts) and visual design work - Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desired - Skilled in graphic design, video editing, web development, and photography applications such as Adobe Creative Suite - High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills - Bachelors degree - Candidates with strong interpersonal skills will be the best fits for this position - Experience using Web Accessibility and testing tools (e.g. Lighthouse, Google Accessibility Developer Tools) - Adobe After Effects experience required - Wireframes experience desired
