We have an Electrical Engineer position located in our Framingham, MA location. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for design and planning related activities associated with electric transmission, distribution and substation facilities. This includes preparation of single&lines, schematics, and wiring designs for substations, as well as preparation of system models for load, fault, and protection analysis. Responsibilities will also include preparation of studies and reports for transmission and distribution systems. Responsibilities: ? Project scope development ? Relay One Line design ? Three Line AC schematic design ? DC protection schematic design ? Panel layout and wiring design ? Develop Bill of Materials based on design criteria ? Complete project lifecycle support from scoping to final design and implementation ? Construction Support ? Applying the minimum requirements of the National Electrical Safety Code to the design processes ? Working with client standards to implement design ? Working with a designer/drafter to create the required drawings for each project Successful candidates must comply with quality control and safe work practices and maintain compliance with project scope, schedule and budget. This position will be a member of a design team comprised of engineers, designers, and CAD technicians and will work with client standards to implement design PowerDelivery LeadGen LeadGenEng Qualifications: ? Bachelors DegreeIn Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 5 years related experience required. ? Familiarity with AC and DC schematics ? Design and review of elementary, wiring, and control diagrams ? Familiarity with protective relaying and industry specific terminology as it applies to the power industry ? Perform routine aspects of engineering assignments requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles ? Efficiently execute project work and deliver on schedule, high quality work products ? Identify, prepare technical documentation, communicate and resolve project issues with lead engineer and project manager ? Collaborate with engineers across disciplines and identify and resolve potential design issues to assure complete and quality work product ? Apply client standards, national standards (NESC, IEEE && IEC) and applicable state and federal safety, regulatory compliance requirements, and construction codes ? Develop accurate drawing and hour estimates and project approach documents for small to medium size projects within the discipline of expertise ? Provide detailed technical write&ups on proposals for small to medium size projects within the associated discipline of expertise under direction of lead engineer and project manager ? Demonstrate improved skill set of technical knowledge and experience through efficiency and quality of work product ? Provide guidance and mentorship to less experience engineers ?
