As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) you will help build a meaningful engineering discipline, combining software and systems to develop creative engineering solutions to operations problems. Much of our support and software development focuses on optimizing existing systems, building infrastructure and reducing work through automation. As an SRE youll be focused on running better production applications and systems. Responsibilities:
Work on a multi-year strategic initiative and deliver technical solutions that will support Incremental and regional processing, flexible data analysis tools, trend analysis, full data transparency and drilldown, dynamic assumptions, workflow, fully automated explains.
Follow SDLC best practices such continuous integration, automated unit test and regression testing, etc and focus on end to end quality of the delivery.
Work collaboratively in a team with fellow developers, sharing ideas to solve complex and challenging business problems.
Be able to communicate effectively and work closely together with business clients, other technology teams, support partners and stakeholders to deliver and support business aligned solutions.

Responding to the evolving regulatory environment and helping to meet the firms regulatory commitments by addressing internal and external commitments
Advancing the firms Roadmap programs -- Single Sourcing of data, Architecture Convergence, and Rationalization of Platforms
Adopting industry leading technologies to support best-in-class business capabilities for high performance computing and data storage solutions
Driving innovation across the firms corporate technology portfolio, increasing efficiencies through process automation, and Agile application development, with an emphasis on user experience and shorter development cycles
Investing in security & controls for cyber, access/entitlements uplift, data protection and application resiliency
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in an software engineering discipline
Mastery in at least two or more software languages (e.g. Python, Java, Go, etc.) with respect to designing, coding, testing , and software delivery
Adept in the development of automated tools, systems, and services in multiple technology domains
Advanced knowledge of one or more infrastructure components (e.g. networking, cloud services, orchestration tools, containerization, compute and storage systems)
Proficiency in service-level changes to a system and troubleshooting components
Strong business analysis skills
Agile/Scrum or Kanbanmethodology
Develop, test and debug automated tasks including apps, systems and infrastructure
Automate manual operational work by improving products or software
Troubleshoot priority incidents and facilitate blameless post evaluations
Work with development teams throughout the software life cycle ensuring sustainable software releases
Perform analytics on past data, such as incidents and usage patterns for predicting issues and take proactive steps to implement improvements
Build and drive adoption for greater self-healing and resiliency patterns
Lead and participate in performance tests, and identify bottlenecks and opportunities for optimization and capacity demands.
Provide Level 3 production support to applications in production.
Handle Code deployments for application releases.
Split time between operational work and engineering work
Contribute to around the clock support coverage as needed
